Nautical Knots - Reef Knot
The Reef knot is often used to reef sails by tying both ends of a piece of rope together as in a bundle. It is a knot that should not be relied upon! It is commonly used to tie shoe laces together.
The photo shows the Reef knot cushion on the left hand side. The knot is in a navy blue colour.
The pattern is cut by hand and sewn onto the white sailcloth cushion with a zigzag stitch using ultra violet resistant sailmakers thread.
If you would like the knot in a different colour we offer you a choice of colours:
navy blue, mid blue, grey, red, green, black, fluoro orange, fluoro pink, yellow or white sewn on with navy blue thread.
The inner polyester cushion pad is included and can be removed through an envelope style opening at the back.

Care instructions:
Wash the sailcloth cover by hand with eco-friendly washing liquid at 30 degrees centigrade. Rinse. Hang to dry naturally.
Do not add bleach, do not dry clean and do not iron or tumble dry.
